Hallo Michael,

die Lärche hat von Jahr zu Jahr an Verzweigung zugelegt, ich könnte gar nicht mal behaupten, dass sie in der Hinsicht dieses Jahr einen besonderen Sprung gemacht hat. Warum gerade dieses Jahr die Rinde begonnen hat, rissig zu werden, kann ich nicht so genau sagen.

Hello Heike,

Taking into account the relative short timeframe , I think you may be pleased with the progression of the tree. Ramification becomes better and better and the primary branches still have an acceptable thickness in proportion to the trunk. Also the change in angle seems like a good improvement to me. If it’s allowed, I’d like to say something about the angle of the lower primary branches in relation to the trunk. It seems that their direction hasn’t changed in accordance with the new position of the trunk. As a result, the first two branches are growing more towards the ground than they initially did, while the upper part of the tree is hanging over it. This would be an appropriate option if the top was growing to the right again. However, since the slope of the trunk is only moderate, the composition will look more natural if the structure of the tree will be more symmetric. Balance can be easily created by slightly lifting the lower branches on the left and lowering the ones on the right (as far as we can talk in two dimensional terms). In order to clarify what I mean, I attached the picture below. However, I do not pretend that this vision is the only good one, nor it is my intention to undervalue you work so far.

Hello Dwarf (would you mind to tell me your real first name?),

thank you very much for your friendly comments about my larch and your thoughts about future work on it!
I already thought about correcting some of the branches next spring and I think you are completely right about the angles.
Your virtual with those alterations and increased ramification looks very good, thank you for that!
I will keep showing the tree's progress.

Ich habe bereits daran gedacht, nächstes Frühjahr einige der Äste zu korrigieren und ich denke, Du hast vollkommen recht, was die Winkel betrifft.
Dein Virtual mit diesen Änderungen und der vermehrten Verzweigung sieht sehr gut aus, danke dafür!
Ich werde weiterhin die Fortschritte des Baums zeigen.)
