This year the larch was repoted. The reason was that I wanted to start a new nebari.

Dzien dobry, witamy!
To jest ładne modrzew. To mi się bardzo podoba. *daumen_new*

The only thing I could mention is that the top might thicken a little more so that the trunk's shape will become more harmonic at the point you cut.
Maybe you could shorten the lowest two branches a little?

I'm still a beginner so you might read other member's arguments and suggestions first; wszystkiego dobrego
Viele Grüße,
Fabian

So, I'm not sure which way to choose. There are still some options. This spring I was thinking about something like this

My idea for this tree.
I took the second upper branch right hand side as the new tip and cut the lowest.

Hi Adam,

I fear I am also just a beginner, so for all that it's worth... I quite like Ulf's solution for the tip if it is possible to get a smooth look like that. From the pics I would prefer to keep the right lower branch though even if it would be in keeping with the slender tall shape of the tree to have it shortened. The back branch seems to fill the visual space a bit on the pic but I suspect that in RL this would look as if you have a gap on the right.

What bothers me most right now though is the second branch from the bottom right now. I have no experience with larches but I would try to induce backbudding in that branch and then gradually prune it back/build it up again so that you get more taper in that branch. Compared to the lower branches it seems way too thick right now. That discrepancy also makes me wonder whether it wouldn't be better to wait with any strong pruning of the lower branches and rather give them a chance to fatten up for the time being in order to improve that balance. Just some ideas...

Nie jestem Polakiem, tylko mówię trochę. Dziadkowie są Polaki.
[I'm making many mistakes and it's difficult for me to write in Polish. ;)]

Heike mentioned an important point; the 2nd branch on the right side is too thick in comparison with the others.
I agree with her to let the other branches below grow more by pruning the too thick branch more than the others.

Nonetheless I think the major problem is the tree's top..
Both a Jin and a green crown seem sensible and good-looking to me, though I like flu's idea most.

i would prefer something like that too, cause there´s another problem:
the tree has got a very straight, upright appearance and the sharp bend just under the top (where you cut it first) is disrupting that quite a bit.

Thanx again for Your all comments :)
Fabian piszesz bardzo dobrze po polsku
This larch was my first outdoor tree (so further first yamadori) and I had when very week klowlegde and no pro tools, so the cut look how it looks :? I would be reduced by making a shari.
The second right branch is in deed the fatest and it must be reduced somehow in the future (it was started).
Flu unfortunatelly theres no new tip. It's an illusion, it's a tip from the lowest branch. Your version is one of the ways and I like it. But...
What do You all think about bend the trunk once or twice, cut the lowest right branch and make something bunjin kind?
Another option is to put another smaller larch on the right side.

Dziękuję za komplement :P

It is still possible to bend the trunk? It could be an interesting version too.
But I'd rather keep a formal upright style..

I think it's possible to make the tree even shorter, so that the cut can be hidden within the crown.

To improve the nebari, wouldn't it be better to use a bigger pot, or even better to plant it in the garden (if you have the possibility to do that).
Furthermore the trunk would thicken more rapidly.

Btw, how about the branches standing opposite to each other?
In general it's said that one must be removed, as you surely know, but sometimes it is better to let them stay.
I'm not sure how about this larch. *schulter zuck*
